You’re busy. You lead a life that is full of work, family, friends, countless obligations and never ending to-do lists. I’m right there with you.
Without even noticing, the speed of our crazy lives sweeps us up and our days begin to blur together like headlights on a highway. A month goes by in what feels like the blink of an eye; then two months, three months, a year and so on. To make room for it all, we put certain things off and say, “I’ll get to that later.” Far too often, it’s travel we put on the chopping block.
The longer we put travel off and the longer we say, “I’ll get to that later,” the more we forget the infinite joys and benefits of traveling. To help prevent travel from getting the axe, I wrote a short travel manifesto comprised of a few simple dos and dont’s to help remind myself, and others, to stay interested in the world and its people, to make a concerted effort to expand our horizons…and to never stop traveling.
