The Most Awesome Pub Crawl You’ll Ever Do
Chances are you’ve been on a pub crawl or two. And by now you know the drill. It’s the mission of you and your friends to pound beers, shots or cocktails and drunkenly walk from bar to bar on a predetermined list of stops.
It’s always a good time (until you wake up on the floor the next morning) and the memories always make it worthwhile.
But if you’re tired of the same old pub crawl, or you’re looking for an epic manventure (man + adventure … see what I did there?) to take with your buddies, Sydney Helicopters has just what you need.
Operating for the past 25 years out of a heliport near Sydney, Australia, Sydney Helicopters has been the go to helicopter company for everything from aerial filming to city sightseeing tours. But you’ll likely be paying them a visit for one thing, and one thing only, there three heli pub tours.
That’s right, no more walking from bar to bar. You’ll be jumping in a chopper for a seven-hour long day of pub hopping and epic Australian sightseeing.
There are three different tours to choose from. The first take you north through the Hunter Valley, the second takes you west through the Blue Mountains, and the third takes you south through the Southern Highlands. All will bring you to real, “out of the way” Aussie pubs and each tour will either begin or wrap up with a spin over the famous Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbor Bridge.
Stops include places like The Settlers Arms Inn, which has been pouring drinks for the past 177 years, Bimbadgen Winery, where you’ll touch down for a wine tasting, vineyard tour and lunch, and Wollombi Tavern where you’ll sample the infamous Dr. Jurd’s Jungle Juice then relax with a beer.
Count me in.
The cost: $995 per person.
