Travel Style: Warm & Well-Made (Iceland)

Everything about Iceland captivates me. Its place, isolated in the North Atlantic. Its geography, beautiful and raw. When I see scenic photos of Iceland I feel like I’m looking back in time to an untouched world in its natural state. One such photo recently caught my eye. Taken by Peter Baker, this photo captures a simple Icelandic hill-scape, but also a human element — a small A-frame cabin.

I’ve never been to Iceland (it’s in my top 5 places I want to go) but when I do, I want to be prepared and well-equipped. I want the things I bring with me to to take a back seat to the beauty around me and simply enhance the experience. That’s why I’ve selected a few time-tested, no-frills, well-made items to come along.

Shirt: Dalton Shirt by Barbour

About Travel Style:

Whether I’m camping in the woods or relaxing on a beach, I like to pack light and pack right. So if it make it into my bag or onto my back, it’s likely a well-crafted, simple, staple item that’ll help me be prepared, comfortable, and confident.
