JUNE IN INSTAGRAM PHOTOS
A shot out the window while flying from Los Angeles to Toronto. Because I’m a map geek, I searched around Google Maps to find this photo and realized that this is Lake Powell and the border of Utah and Arizona runs right though the middle of this photo.
Toronto’s CN Towner. I have been to Toronto once before but this trip solidified it as one of my favorite cities. It’s a melting pot of different cultures, unique neighborhoods, and incredible food.
Speaking of incredible food in Toronto, I took a culinary tour with The Culinary Adventure Company. Among a variety of other great businesses we visited, we went to Ed’s Real Scoop where I got this Maple Bacon Crunch ice cream.
From Toronto I went to New York City where I spent about 3 weeks enjoying the chance of scenery, rain storms, and not having to drive anywhere (it doesn’t rain much and I need to drive everywhere in Los Angeles where I live).
My brother compiled this at home beer tasting. It’s a good idea to keep a small collection of quality beer ready to go in your fridge.
I went stand up paddle boarding on the Hudson River with the Manhattan skyline in the background. See more photos and find out how to try it for yourself.
My brother and I with craft beer legend and Dogfish Head Brewery founder Sam Calagione at Savor: An American Craft Beer and Food Experience. We drank some incredible (and a lot of) beer that night.
I went to Smorgasburg in Williamsburg Brooklyn, an incredible weekly food festival located along the East River. Learn more and see 5 other awesome places to visit nearby in my recent article, Perfect Day: Williamsburg Brooklyn.
My hometown in New Jersey. I spent a lot of time on that lake growing up.
And finally, flying back to Los Angeles from New York.
