Graduating college this spring? First things first: congratulations, you made it through. Second, right now’s the perfect time to take a road trip. Why right now? Because if you plan to take the traditional route and get a Monday-Friday job, the incredible amount of free time you had for the past four years is about to vanish. Yeah, becoming an adult isn’t always fun (sorry if I’m the first one to break it to you). So before you enter the working world and your vacation time is limited, make the most of your freedom this summer by taking a road trip.
To help get you on the road, I wrote an article for Outside that details five road trip routes, each with a few awesome places to stop at along the way. Whether in your college years you partied too hard and want to detox, didn’t party hard enough and want to get rowdy, need some peace and quite, never left your home state, or spent too much time sitting at a desk and need to get active, there’s a road trip for you here. Enjoy.
