Hey guys, sorry I was a bit absent here on the blog the last few weeks — I was busy writing travel articles for a few other outlets (mainly Inside Hook, a men’s lifestyle website that you should be keeping up with if you don’t already).
If you follow me on Snapchat you may have heard me talk about a few of these articles, but if not, I’ve rounded them up below for your reading pleasure. Enjoy!
Some hotels were made for summer. Sure, all but one on the list (Clayoquot) are open year round, but it’s in summer that they really shine. Let these five lodges serves as the perfect reprieve from typical summer beach vacations.
I’ve been to several ski resorts in the summertime — and trust me, at most, the fun only amplifies when the snow melts. The scenery is beautiful and there’s a greater diversity of activities as compared to winter– plus, everyone is outside, happy and soaking up the sun. Sure lots of ski resorts offer summer activities, but here are 5 worth knowing about. Had I been able to include more, I’d definitely add Breckenridge and Aspen on the list.
Sport shooting (i.e. sporting clays, etc.) can be a fun and responsible way to learn how to use a gun. While you could do it at shooting range, why not do it at a shooting range at a luxury hotel? These 5 properties all have unique shooting programs, but had I been able to include more, I’d definitely add Montana’s The Ranch at Rock Creek and The Resort at Paws Up to the list.
These 5 hotels all have their own yacht. That means you’ll be able to rest your head in a luxury room on land at night, and play on the water during the day. Think jaunts to private islands in the Maldives and comfortable cruising in the Galapagos.
