I’m a full-blown travel geek who thoroughly enjoys being in airports and on airplanes. Nothing puts a smile on my face quite like packing a suitcase, staring at all of the cities on a departure screen, and getting jet lag (seriously).
My travels don’t always involve a flight to the other side of the world though. I love traveling around Southern California and hiking in Los Angeles where I live.
Whether I’m near or far, I live to explore, to see, to taste, to experience, to understand, and always listen and learn from the travel stories of the people I meet.

WHAT YOU’LL FIND ON MY BLOG
Whenever I travel, I share my experiences, tips, lessons learned, and stories with you here.
I’ll be digging into my computer and old hard drives (the archive) and pulling out travel photos and videos that have never seen the light of day…until now.
I’ve been a traveling man for a while now, but I haven’t always been a blogging man. So, I’d like to go back in time to relive and share with you some of the best travel moments that I wasn’t able to share before.
Along with a photo or video, Travel Archive posts feature brief fragments of related stories and memories brought back by the visual. As I continue to pull from the archive, posts may start aligning and thus reveal more of the full story behind the pictures.
The archive helps keep my wanderlust alive while I’m not traveling. I hope it’ll help sustain or ignite the traveler in you.
POSTED EVERY OTHER TUESDAY
When I see an awesome photo my mind kicks into daydreaming mode and within seconds I’m picturing myself there in the scene. Standing in this daydream destination I soon realize it’s cold, or it’s hot, and I should be wearing clothes. Then, within the blink of an eye, I’m dressed (remember, I’m still in a daydream).
On the other hand, when I see something that fits my style, the first thing I think is, “where can I travel with this?” So in Travel Style posts, I combine the photos that transport me with the items I’ll need for when I find myself in that location there in real life.
I not a fashion fanatic. In fact, my entire closet could fit in my suitcase (granted I’d need to check that suitcase). What I am is a guy who knows what he likes: well-crafted, simple, staple items that will stand the test of time and hold up through my travels.
