INSPIRATION: BREAKING FREE (VIDEO)
Breaking Free is one of my all time favorite travel videos. It introduces the viewer to some extraordinary people who decided to break free from the norm and cultivate a life of meaning, purpose, and happiness.
One of my favorite quotes from the video comes from Robb, who started an N.G.O in Panama. He says, “I think what holds people back from taking that leap, is permission.” We’re taught to play it safe, and as Robb goes on to say, “put ourselves in a position of comfort and safety.” I personally don’t see the fun in that. Check out the video below:
Good right? Now I don’t think you need to pick up and move to another country, but the theme of the video is one I think we should all be reminded of periodically: take control of your life, don’t let life take control of you.
