Welcome to Trevor Morrow Travel — thanks for stopping by!
This site exists to help you discover the travel, food and gear you need know about — becasue the faster you get to the good stuff, the faster you can confidently start traveling.
Whenever I travel, it’s my mission to bring you along for the ride (here on my blog, as well as on Snapchat and Instagram) and give you the ideas, information and inspiration you need to get out there and see the world for yourself.
Philosophy:
The world isn’t one-dimensional and neither are you.
That’s why I believe traveling well is all about balance, both physically and financially (a.k.a. selective splurging). It’s about keeping an open mind and looking at all available options — finding a destination’s most story-worthy experiences – then picking and choosing, and saving and splurging to craft the best trip possible.
It’s what I call being a travel chameleon. Like me, you’re no longer a backpacker and not always a luxury traveler — you know how to adapt to both worlds in pursuit of the most memorable travel experiences.
So if you’re just as comfortable in a suite as you are in a sleeping bag, seek out adventure as much as you do serenity, and are just as game to dine on street food as you are on a fancy steak dinner — then you’re in the right place.
A Little More About Me:
I’ve backpacked in developing countries, shared a room with gigantic spiders, ridden in rural trains for hours on end and showered just once a week. On the flip side, I’ve stayed in five-star hotels, eaten Michelin-starred meals, gotten dressed up for formal events and sprawled out in first class seats. So as you can see, and like my “philosophy” states, I believe travel is all about balance.
When I’m not traveling, I live in Los Angeles, California, where I’m a travel writer. In addition to Trevor Morrow Travel, my work has appeared across various outlets like Outside Online, Details, Men’s Journal, Inside Hook, Uproxx and more.
